Rodents from France
Fauna and biology

This book (in french) is a new release of the 1977 rodents' fauna from France by
Le Louarn and Saint Girons.

In a first part rodents are generically presented (1) in relation with their
environment: climate, biotopes and habitats, predation and population dynamics,
(2) in relation with man: damages, sanitary problems, fight and protection.
Keys are provided for identifying species.

In a second part the monographs for the 31 rodents' species of France are
presented with, for each of them, the available knowledge: description, distribution,
habitats, biological and behavioural traits.

The illustrations propose an overview of the book (cover, contents) as well as its
general bibliography on rodents.
